Finding square from Yavaduni Taavduni formula

वैदिक गणित में यावदूनी तावदूनी सूत्र इस प्रकार है।

The Yavaduni Taavduni Sutra in Vedic Mathematics is as follows.

'यावदूनम् तावदूनम् कृत्य वर्ग च योजयेत' 

वर्ग सूत्र = (संख्या + आ. से विचलन) / विचलन²

Square formula = (Number + deviation from base) / Deviation²

सूत्र में मुख्य तत्व 'आधार से विचलन' अर्थात 'विचलन' है जो हमने संख्या में से आधार को घटाने के प्राप्त होगा।

The main element in the formula is 'deviation from the base' i.e. 'deviation'. Which we will get by subtracting the base from the number.

आधार से विचलन = संख्या – आधार

Deviation from the base = Number – Base

विचलन धनात्मक तथा ऋणात्मक दोनों हो सकता है यदि संख्या आधार से बड़ी है तो विचलन धनात्मक यदि संख्या आधार से छोटी है तो विचलन ऋणात्मक होगा।

Deviation can be both positive and negative. If the number is larger than the base then the deviation will be positive. If the number is smaller than the base then the deviation will be negative.

★ 97 का आधार से विचलन

★ Deviation from base of 97

        97 –100 = –3

★ 104 का आधार से विचलन

★ Deviation from base of 104

        104 –100 = +4

आधार = 10

आधार से विचलन = 14 –10 = 4

वर्ग सूत्र = (संख्या + आधार से विचलन) / विचलन²

14² = (14 +4)/ 4²

       = 18/¹6

       = 196

Deviation from base = 14 –10 = 4

Square formula = (number + deviation from aadhar) / deviation²

14² = (14 +4)/ 4²

        = 18/¹6

        = 196

(02)  98²

आधार = 100

आधार से विचलन = 98 –100 = –2

वर्ग सूत्र = (संख्या + आधार से विचलन) / विचलन²

98² = (98 –2)/ (–2)²

       = 96/04

       = 9604

base = 100

Deviation from base = 98 –100 = –2

Square formula = (number + deviation from aadhar) / deviation²

98² = (98 –2)/ (–2)²

        = 96/04

        = 9604

(03)  104²

आधार = 100

आधार से विचलन = 104 –100 = 4

वर्ग सूत्र = (संख्या + आधार से विचलन) / विचलन²

104² = (104 +4)/ (4)²

       = 108/16

       = 10816

base = 100

Deviation from base = 104 –100 = 4

Square formula = (number + deviation from base) / deviation²

104² = (104 +4)/ (4)²

        = 108/16

        = 10816

आधार = 1000

आधार से विचलन = 997 –1000 = –3

वर्ग सूत्र = (संख्या + आधार से विचलन) / विचलन²

997² = (997 –3)/ (–03)²

       = 994/009

       = 994009

base = 1000

Deviation from base = 997 –1000 = –3

Square formula = (number + deviation from base) / deviation²

997² = (997 –3)/ (–03)²

        = 994/009

        = 994009

आधार = 1000

आधार से विचलन = 1003 –1000 = 3

वर्ग सूत्र = (संख्या + आधार से विचलन) / विचलन²

1003² = (1003 +3)/ (–3)²

       = 1006/009

       = 1006009

base = 1000

Deviation from base = 1003 –1000 = 3

Square formula = (number + deviation from base) / deviation²

1003² = (1003 +3)/ (–3)²

        = 1006/009

        = 1006009
