दो संख्याओं के वर्गों का अंतर ज्ञात करना
Differencing the squares of two numbers
In this chapter we will learn to find the difference of squares of two numbers together. Although there are many methods but the Identity method works very well in this.
Type I
(A)² – (B)² = (A –B)(A + B)
सतत अर्थात लगातार अर्थात क्रमागत संख्या के वर्गों का अंतर ज्ञात करना।
Finding the difference between the squares of two continuous or regular or consecutive numbers.
(A +1)² – (A)² = (A +1 –A)(A + 1+A)
= (1)[(A + 1)+(A)]
Example 1
(5)² – (4)² = 5+4 = 9
Check
(5)² – (4)² = 25 – 16 = 9
Example 2
(10)² – (9)² = 10+9 = 19
Check
(10)² – (9)² = 100 – 81 = 19
Example 3
(15)² – (14)² = 15+14 = 29
Check
(15)² – (14)² = 225 – 196 = 29
Example 4
(105)² – (104)² = 105+104 = 209
Type II
किन्हीं दो संख्याओं के वर्गों का अंतर ज्ञात करना।
Finding the difference of the squares of any two numbers.
(A)² – (B)² = (A + B)×(A – B)
Example 1
(5)² – (2)² = (5 + 2)×(5 – 3) = 7 × 2 = 14
Example 2
(10)² – (5)² = (10 + 5)×(10 – 5) = 15 × 5 = 75
Example 3
(110)² – (100)² = (110 + 100)×(110 – 100) = 210 × 10 = 2100
