Division:
DIVISIBILITY BY 6
(i) By Digital Sum Method
Look the series 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, ........
* These all have even & 0 number in unit place so that these are divisible by 2.
* The digital sum of the number is 6, 3, 9, 6, 3 respectively so that these are divisible by 2.
* Thus it pass the test for both 2 and 3 so that these numbers will be divisible by 2 and 3 both and numbers are divisible by 6.
Exercise 01

Sol. 01)
Test 01.
The digital sum of the number 27 is 2+7= 9, so that 27 is divisible by 3
Test 02.
The unit digit is 7 so that this is not divisible by 2.
Conclusion
* Thus it does not pass the test for both 2 and 3 so that these numbers will not be divisible by 6.
Sol. 02)
Test 01.
The digital sum of the number 54 is 5+4= 9, so that 54 is divisible by 3
Test 02
The unit digit of 54 is 4 so that 54 is divisible by 2.
Conclusion
* Thus the number 54 pass the test for both 2 and 3 so that 54 is divisible by 6.
Sol. 21)
Test 01.
The digital sum of the number [751284 is 7+5+1+2+8+4= 27= 2+7=9,] is 9 so that 751284 is divisible by 3.
Test 02
The unit digit of 751284 is 4 so that 751284 is divisible by 2.
Conclusion
* Thus the number 751284 pass the test for both 2 and 3 so that 751284 is divisible by 6.
